Overnight Oatmeal Two Ways!

Spring has sprung, and while the weather is heating up, your breakfast can be cooling off. We know that maybe on a sweltering day when you feel the heat early in the morning, sometimes (and we mean sometimes) a warm bowl of oatmeal just doesn’t sound appealing. Don’t worry, you’re in luck! You can still enjoy your Coach’s Oats in a cooler way.

Check out our recipes below for overnight oatmeal. Not only are the recipes delicious, cool and nutritious, they are fast, too. What could be quicker in the morning than grabbing a bowl of oatmeal ready to go?

If you prefer a thicker, richer flavor, enjoy the yogurt version (1). If you prefer lighter, creamier oatmeal, enjoy the milk version (2). Both are delicious and will keep you away from the microwave and stove in the morning. Do you have any “cool” breakfast recipes?

Version 1:

Zesty Berry Lemon Oatmeal:
• ⅓ cup Coach’s Oats®
• 8 oz yogurt (we prefer Chobani Greek Yogurt)
• lemon zest
• honey
• raspberries
• blueberries
• splash of milk
• walnuts

Combine all ingredients (except the walnuts) in your cereal bowl and mix well. Cover with plastic wrap and let it set overnight in the refrigerator. In the morning top with walnuts and enjoy.

Version 2:

Strawberry Oatmeal Simplicity:
• ⅓ cup Coach’s Oats®
• 1 cup milk (we used Silk light soy milk)
• sliced strawberries
• Splenda, Stevia, sugar or sweetener of your choice
• chopped almonds

Combine all ingredients (except almonds) in your cereal and mix well. Cover with plastic wrap and let it set overnight in the refrigerator. In the morning top with almonds and enjoy. Print these recipes

*The options and toppings to these recipes are endless. Feel free to experiment and let us know if you find something that works best for you.
